The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is looking for consulting firm for Publishing, maintaining, polishing, and promoting the AGPSA Serious Game
The project “Support to the African Union on crisis prevention, conflict management and peace consolidation under the African Peace and Security Architecture (APSA IV) aims to improve the capacity of the African Union to use instruments of the African Peace and Security Architecture (APSA) and the African Governance Architecture (AGA) coherently in its member states. In order to raise the awareness of the civil society, with a special focus on youth, the GIZ APSA IV project has developed a Serious Game on the AGA and the APSA. The Serious Game is called “Mission 54 – Conflict in Anaka” and will be launched 21.09.2022 in the context of the International Peace Day.

Period of assignment: 07 September 2022 until 31 October 2024 for up to 45 Working Days
Qualifications of the two online promotion campaign specialists:
- Education: University qualification (master’s) in Media, Marketing, Web design or other related fields
- Professional experience: 10 years of professional experience in the online marketing sector
- Experience in the region: 10 years of experience in projects in Africa in at least five different African countries
- Language skills: Business fluency in English (one specialist) and French (one specialist)
Qualification of the game design expert:
- Education: University qualification (master’s) in Computer Science, Video Game Programming and Development, Game Design, Game Art, Software Engineering, or related fields
- Professional experience: 10 years of experience in Game Design and 5 years of experience in UI/UX design
- Experience in the region: 10 years of experience in working in Africa
- Language skills: Business fluency in English
