  • The field officer ensures that the health programs in hATRA and Mahalabya are well-planned, implemented, monitored, and followed upon. 
  • He or she is in charge of providing Cordaid support to primary and secondary health care facilities,  
  • He or she collaborates with health authorities to achieve the goal of providing quality health care to the target demographic. 
  • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships/networks with the Field team, health authorities, health personnel, other health actors, and local governments. 
  • Cooperates with other Cordaid departments to guarantee a collaborative and integrated approach, as well as adherence to Cordaid communication procedures and the Sub-plan. Delegation’s 
  • Understands and follows the Cordaid Movement’s seven Fundamental Principles. 
  • Understands the Cordaid Code of Conduct and follows it. 
  • Understand the functions of the Cordaid Movement’s many components. 
  • At all times, respect and adhere to staff norms and security rules. 
  • At all times, represents Cordaid professionally. 
  • With colleagues and line supervisors, creates and maintains a pleasant and productive working atmosphere. 
  • In the best interests of the employees, Cordaid performs all obligations with the utmost discretion. 
  • When needed during meetings or for any medical-related article/document, interprets and translates from Arabic to English and vice versa. 
  • Perform activities not outlined in this job description and assist other departments as needed and requested. 
  • Participates in assessments, analyses, reviews, and evaluations of civilians affected by conflict’s access to health care to offer applicable solutions based on Cordaid’s institutional priorities and Iraqi Ministry of Health policy. 
  • Participates in the development of Primary Health Care Centre objectives, plans of action, resource requirements, and reviews (PHCC) 
  • Supports and monitors the execution of PHCC projects in AOR to guarantee seamless operation, effective, evidence-based health services following PfR health objectives and MOH policy. 
  • In partnership with health authorities, assists the PHCC and hospital employees and facilitates capacity building as needed. 
  • Regularly visits the PHCC projects and delivers internal oral and/or written reports on field visits, including analysis and recommendations. 
  • Takes part in the identification process.
