Driver

 ·       Ensure provision of reliable and safe driving services by driving office vehicles for the transport of the staff members and visitors within the Kurdistan Region (Erbil, Dohuk and Sulaymaniyah) up to the boarders.

·       Plan routes, in conjunction with the Arche-Nova Security Advisor, ensuring the safety of passengers at all times, ensuring a detailed knowledge of the safest routes within the region.

·       Deliver and collect mails, documents and other items.

·       Ensure cost-savings through proper use of vehicle through accurate maintenance of daily vehicle logs, provision of inputs to preparation of the vehicle maintenance plans and reports.

·       Ensure proper day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle through timely minor repairs, arrangements for major repairs, timely changes of oil, check of tires, brakes, car washing, etc.

·       Ensure availability of all the required documents/supplies including vehicle insurance, vehicle logs, office directory, and map of the city/country, first aid kit, and necessary spare parts in the assigned vehicle.

·       Ensure that all immediate actions required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in accidents

·       Adhere to all safety requirements.

·       Maintain the service and appearance of the vehicle.

·       Perform any other duties as assigned by Direct Supervisor.

·       Immediately report any accident or security incident/risk to supervisor; Complete accident and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

·       Check daily before departure that the vehicle is roadworthy and provided of the required vehicle packs (breakdown & recovery kit; fire extinguishers; first-aid kit) according to Vehicle Check List.

·       Ensure that the vehicle is kept clean outside and inside at all times. Ensure to keep the vehicle tidy and that all rubbish is removed from the vehicle after a journey.

·       Prepare Daily Vehicle Usage report, including logbook: trip use, mileage and fuel consumption.

·       Ensure that the keys and vehicle documents are kept in a secure place when the vehicle is not in use.

·       Ensure that all the passengers wear the vehicle safety belts before driving the vehicle.

·       Strictly following speed limits and adjusting the speed according to the state of the road or track, when near built-up and populated areas. Following and having the passengers follow security instructions regarding check points.

·       Facilitate smooth transit across barriers or checkpoints, liaise with governmental officers, security officers, and military representatives.
