Job PurposeResponsible for evaluating suppliers, products, and services, maintaining positive supplier relations, evaluating supply options, creating orders in Oracle and maintaining inventories and accurate records.Oversee purchasing activities and ensure that purchased items are cost-efficient, of high quality and on time delivery.Looking after overall materials management and maintaining a quality work culture. Key ResponsibilitiesFloating RFQ, following up and evaluation of different offers as per project requirement.Reviews orders, create PO and manage approval process.Order realizing to vendors, delivery follow-ups, material receipt and dispatch to various customer/projects.Tools and Equipment���s management. Managing Shipping and Logistics operations Maintaining various records and weekly forecast/log sheets for internal customer and management review and regular updates.Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.Following and enforcing the company’s procurement policies and procedures.Reviewing, comparing and analysing products and services to be purchased.Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.Keep detailed records of transactions for easily accessible database of what has been purchased from whom, contact information, and particulars regarding costs and deliveries. Also make notes in files about specific suppliers, such as ones that are good at fulfilling rush orders and ones that have previously made errors in their shipments.Getting a good price for items in the quantity desired delivered in a satisfactory time frame. Also discuss needs with vendors to work out appropriate arrangements.Inspect the quality of the shipments received. In case of problems contact the sender to inquire about the delay or to fix the order to bring it up to par with expectations. Also keeping track of stock on hand in order to make requests to replenish when inventory is low.Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the Customer.Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the Customer.Ensure smooth flow of the logistic activities by identifying the potential weakness/obstacles.Track order acknowledgment, prepares and communicates shortage and backlog reports and provides visibility of potential interruptions to customers.Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations until products or services are delivered to Customer.Clear the shipments and avail duty exemption, FANR, TRA and ESMA approval for Oil & Gas Companies.Work with team members and Procurement & Logistics Manager to complete duties as neededEducational Qualification Requirements:Diploma / Bachelor���s Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/Electronics and communication/ Logistics/ Supply Chain Management / Engineering or a Related Field.Skills & Professional Requirements:ERP solutions; Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Office Good interpersonal skills to get along with co-workers and outside vendorsExcellent Written and Oral Communication SkillsCommunicating clearly to deliver vital information to upper-level staffAttending to detail to ensure specifications are being met and quality of purchases is up to standardDisplaying admirable negotiating skills in order to get the best dealsDemonstrating a passion for the type of products being purchased and a willingness to continuously stay up-to-date on trends in the sector. Experience Requirements:5-8 years relevant experience in Supply Chain, Logistics and warehousing for Oil & Gas EPC Projects.Experience and knowledge of global shipping and logistics management with ERP solutions; Oracle, SAPDemand Planning & Forecasting experience of sourcing and procurement techniques.
