In this role you will advise and support our senior leaders and people leaders to help build organisational and individual capability. You will help shape behaviours and structures that contribute to our purpose of achieving a sustainable future. Driving and supporting a high-performance culture that reinforces the Robertson Way.

Leading on all learning and development activity to ensure employees are set up for success and able to support the current and future needs of the organisation. Working in collaboration with the Early Careers Development Advisor to ensure cohesion across approaches for the different populations within our organisation.

  • Work in collaboration with the Early Careers Development Advisor to design and deliver an effective L&D approach, which enhances the knowledge, skills, and behaviours of employees to improve individual performance, enable progression and meet organisational goals
  • Support performance development cycle, providing appropriate communication, guidance, and insights reporting
  • Further development and embedding of our core and leadership behavioural frameworks
  • Creation and maintenance of a learning library to help support employee development
  • Support succession planning conversations at business unit/regional level
  • Conduct learning needs analyses
  • Maximise usage and potential of eLearning platform (gather metrics and data to share in board reports)
  • Define professional career development pathways
  • Advise on leadership and management development approaches, establishing needs for internal programmes (delivered by external partners), submitting proposals

As part of a new team, the People Development Advisor will have worked within a fast paced, transformational HR team. You’ll have knowledge and experience of learning needs analysis, along with insight in to career pathways and current best practice trends. With exceptional attention to detail and the ability to focus on delivery and creating impact, this is a varied role for a confident L&D professional.
