As an Operational expert, you can work with direction given, raise concerns and adhere to all deadlines provided. The person should have strong customer service and communication skills and take ownership of issues while providing resolution to clients.Detailed ResponsibilitiesDocument receipt; vet & Job creationInitiate bookings to Carrier / Co-loader as per the routing guide/rate cardCo-ordinate with Customer / Net work office to get their green light on the scheduleCo-ordinate with Shipper, Transport team to plan for the loadingArrange for additional documentary requirement if any i.e. COO, Export License, etcCo-ordinate for Customs inspection if requireBOL draft preparation, seek approval & release the final BOL to CustomerTrack the shipment as per the scopeEnsure smoother day to day operationsBilling with 100% accuracy & Dispatch the documents to Customer Ensure to meet DSV���s Global & Customer KPI���sEnsure Sanctions & other compliances at all levelKeep shipment tracker & report to the management when it���s requiredMaintain Department SOP���s and rates for all customersEnsure to keep good rapport with Customers & VendorsEnsure cost effective and compliance while using VendorsEnsure and monitor the KEY trade lane developmentsEnsure timely resolution/response of any discrepancy/escalation from Customer / VendorsMaintain handover sheet during annual or emergency leaveResolve issues regarding damage/ claims and ensure to escalate these issues on timely manner.Qualifications & CharacteristicsMinimum of 4 year���s experience of working in a customer service role in freight forwarding industry.
