We are Swiss Consultancy with offices in Geneva, Turkey, Iraq, Jordan, and Syria with a team based across Europe and the Middle East. We support humanitarian and development actors increase the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency sustainability and impact of their work. Our key services include Research and Analysis, Third-Party Monitoring and Evaluation in Conflict Contexts, Capacity Building.

Jouri is pleased to announce an opportunity for interns from Ukraine. This internship is open to all interested Ukrainians living in or outside Ukraine.

Details:

Duration: 6 months

Working hours: full day (8 working hours per day)

Closing date: Thursday 1st September 2022

Location: Homebased with possibility of relocation and travels

Start date: As soon as possible

Role overview

The purpose of the internship is to provide personal and professional development opportunities and get a hands-on experience of what it is like to work in an international consulting. The successful intern will have the opportunity of working closely with humanitarian and development actors in Ukraine and other conflict-affected countries.

We welcome candidates who wish to be part of a team working to improve the impact of development and humanitarian work and help transform the lives of affected communities for the better.

Required Skills and Experience

• Current university students or recent graduates of universities or colleges (degree preferably in international studies related fields).
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Background in research.
• Interest in the humanitarian and development work.
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken Ukrainian and English is a must.
• Computer literacy: Microsoft Office, Internet.
• Flexible, pro-active, and enthusiastic team player with a persistent drive to deliver results.
