Duties & Responsibilities

  • Experience in accounts payable core processes (registering supplier invoices, reconciling supplier statements, resolving queries, producing payment runs)
  • Experience in accounts receivable core processes (raising customer invoices, Reconciling customer accounts, resolving queries, credit control)
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Recording and reconciling companies credit cards
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Timely submission of VAT returns
  • Preparation of monthly Profit & Loss statement
  • Ad hoc analytical reports and projects

Skills And Experience Required As A Finance Assistant

  • Part Qualified AAT, CIMA or ACCA or actively studying towards accountancy exams preferential
  • Experience in use of accounting software Quickbooks/Sage desirable
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Good communication skills
  • The ability to multitask & prioritize
  • A proactive approach to work along with a strong desire to learn
  • Team player
  • Flexible and adaptable attitude – able to deal with changing priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
