Housing Options and Assessment Team Manager

We are seeking a highly talented, ambitious and customer focused person to join us.

Salary: £36,679 – £39,667 (Full Time 36hrs per week) Fixed Term until October 2022

Location: Bromley Civic Centre

In Bromley we are committed to providing housing services which help people to find and maintain housing solutions which truly meet their needs. We are looking to recruit a experienced Housing Options and Assessment Team Manager with the drive and commitment to deliver high quality housing services.

The successful candidate will need to be a pro-active individual who is able to lead a team of housing options officers promoting an innovative approach to problem solving, is an effective and consistent communicator, and can provide a high quality of support and guidance to Housing Options Officers. The ability to communicate and work effectively with, staff, customers, landlords, accommodation providers, and partner organisations to achieve successful outcomes for our homeless applicants is essential for this role.

As well as experience in offering housing advice and assistance to applicants, you will also have knowledge of statutory legislation and obligations.
