Duties & Responsibilities
- Experience in accounts payable core processes (registering supplier invoices, reconciling supplier statements, resolving queries, producing payment runs)
- Experience in accounts receivable core processes (raising customer invoices, Reconciling customer accounts, resolving queries, credit control)
- Bank reconciliations
- Recording and reconciling companies credit cards
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Timely submission of VAT returns
- Preparation of monthly Profit & Loss statement
- Ad hoc analytical reports and projects
Skills And Experience Required As A Finance Assistant
- Part Qualified AAT, CIMA or ACCA or actively studying towards accountancy exams preferential
- Experience in use of accounting software Quickbooks/Sage desirable
- Strong Excel skills
- Good communication skills
- The ability to multitask & prioritize
- A proactive approach to work along with a strong desire to learn
- Team player
- Flexible and adaptable attitude – able to deal with changing priorities
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
