The opportunity

As part of our wider Technical Operations team, the Client Service helpdesk is responsible for training and guiding staff on how the business should deliver an exemplary level of service to our clients. The helpdesk is the primary point of contact to the wider business regarding all client service enquiries.

The Client Service helpdesk supports the business in meeting a key objective, ensuring the delivery of client service is the best it can be. The Client Service helpdesk will help drive the efficiency and consistency of standards throughout the client’s engagement with us.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Your primary role will be to manage all enquiries sent to the Client Services Helpdesk.
  • Your focus will be to ensure that you promote internally to our staff that our clients receive a professional and memorable client experience.
  • You will be required to strategically balance your time between handling day to day client issues, queries & requests from our technical staff, identifying requirements and needs and then working with staff to answer these and indirectly improving the underlying processes.
  • Being highly responsive to internal client service requests.
  • Apply meticulous attention to detail in everything you do – ensuring that you showcase how to deliver a flawless client experience to staff of all levels.
  • Manage Client Service queries daily through email requests, contribute to the maintenance of materials housed on the helpdesk sharepoint site and training staff of all levels on internal processes and client service elements.
  • Assist in maintaining internal databases and keeping these up to date.
  • Management and review of all compliance client lists throughout the year and project managing these within the helpdesk team to help technical staff to maintain their client portfolios.
  • Liaison with clients during busy tax deadlines to assist technical staff in meeting US/UK Tax filing deadlines and dealing with any deadline associated client queries.

To qualify for the role, you must be

  • Self-motivated and organised
  • Able to prioritise workload according to level of urgency
  • Be able to work to deadlines
  • Able to work in a team but most importantly independently when required

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Previous experience in a help desk and/or a client facing role desirable
  • Basic level of Microsoft software experience desired
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
