Electrical Engineer- MEP
Our client is a locally owned and highly respected engineering company in Dallas that is looking to add an Electrical Engineer EIT or Designer with MEP design experience to their growing team. This is a Direct Hire position at an outstanding company in a great location with generous compensation, benefits, bonus/401K, and PTO programs.
Responsibilities
? Set up new Revit MEP projects based on existing project templates;
? Develop electrical construction documentation under supervision of assigned engineering, design supervision utilizing primarily AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP;
? Develop electrical construction models in AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP
? Create detailed field installation drawings and fabrication drawings;
? Create, modify, and update Revit MEP families as required for specific projects;
? Perform file management functions such as posting models, downloading model updates, managing links, and historic versioning;
? Attend coordination meetings, communicate with other trades, and create/extract reports as required.
Qualifications
? A Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited school. Current EIT or ability to sit for EIT exam;
? Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, Revit MEP, and AutoCAD MEP;
? Demonstrated knowledge of or interest in MEP systems and their installation, with an emphasis on electrical installations preferred;
? Possess an understanding of drawing and modeling organization, detail, and precision.
