Mines Advisory Group (MAG) are looking for a digital consultant to support our global explosive ordnance risk education (EORE) project. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a dynamic international charity that shared the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize.

You will support the Digital EORE project by supporting the collection, consolidation, and analysis of various data points from multiple countries to produce an evaluation of the impact of the two-year project.

You will remotely support the delivery of post campaign Focus Group Discussions in Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, and Vietnam. You will analyse data from the project and build on the mid-term evaluation documents in order to produce a final project evaluation including recommendations and lessons learned.

You will have demonstrable experience of Monitoring and Evaluation reporting and proficiency in producing high quality written reports against tight deadlines, for internal and external distribution. You will be an efficient self-starter with an ability to work alone and as part of a team and will have an ability to effectively work with people from various backgrounds. You will have excellent project management and organisational skills and will be able to manage prioritisation to effectively deliver against deadlines.

Experience of working within an international humanitarian organisation, NGO or similar sector would be advantageous.

Location and details of work

This consultancy will be carried out on a remote basis, affiliated with our UK office.

The consultancy is intended to begin as soon as possible and will last until January 31st, 2023. This is a project-based role with no fixed hours. Compensation will be on the basis of an agreed daily rate and number of days of work. All activities should be completed by January 31st, 2023.
