The USAID-funded Enhance Activity in Thailand, implemented by Tetra Tech International Development (International Development Jobs – Tetra Tech), is currently accepting expressions of interest for a Data Analyst. This position will be located in the office in Bangkok.

Position Description/Summary:

The Data Analyst will be responsible for comprehensive data analysis, interpreting information, spotting trends, and making recommendations. Their expertise lies in uncovering patterns, correlations, and generating insights to bolster decision-making processes. This work complements the efforts of the USAID Enhance Monitoring and Evaluation Manager. The Data Analyst will report directly to the Knowledge Management Director.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct thorough data analysis, examining complex datasets both qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, patterns, and relationships within the information

* Interpret data, identify correlations, and offer insights to support and influence key decisions

* Employ statistical analysis, data mining methods, and visualization tools to generate practical insights from complex datasets encompassing both qualitative and quantitative data

* Generate reports, dashboards, visual aids, and presentations that effectively communicate findings and recommendations to the USAID Enhance team and relevant stakeholders

* Work alongside the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Manager to co-create data collection tools and techniques (i.e., templates and forms) that adhere to standard operating procedures and ethical standards

* Assist the MEL Manager in monitoring data quality, ensuring accuracy and consistency, and identifying areas for improvement

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

* 1+ years of work experience in data analysis.

* Proficiency in Power BI with hands-on experience creating reports and dashboards

* Working knowledge of statistical analysis tools and databases

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into understandable insights

* Good communication skills to convey findings to both technical and non-technical audiences

* Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy, reliability, and the ability to work with large datasets

* Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently manage activities/tasks.

* Strong Thai and English writing and speaking skills.
