Job Summary Amentum is seeking a Cultural Advisor to perform Linguistic and Cultural advisory services to support USCENTCOM, Combined Joint Task Force ��� Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR) in Baghdad, Iraq. You are an independent, proactive, detail-oriented advisor, focused on providing content and product development support to directly counter threats, such as the efforts of violent extremists and humanitarian crises. You’ll support this task, as detailed in approved USCENTCOM strategic plans (such as the Counter ISIL Strategy), operational plans (such as OIR), and/or tactical plans. You will provide expertise in the research and analysis of developed content to ensure it is culturally relevant in various mediums to include printed material, video, audio, audio-visual components, and to ensure it is grammatically accurate and dialect appropriate. You will provide the required professional, technical, and engineering services to complete or provide support personnel as identified below: You will serve as an Iraqi Arabic / Iraqi Cultural Advisor (CULAD), based in Iraq, to assist planners in identifying opportunities and tailoring messages to various audiences. Additionally, as the Iraqi CULAD, you will draft analytical products regarding regional discussions from foreign language media and assist in evaluating assessments and research in Iraq and other applicable areas. You will also provide translation support to the client as required. This position is one of two Iraqi CULADs, with one based in Iraq and one in Kuwait. You will be called upon to provide critical support to key leader engagements events conducted in Iraq and Kuwait with relevant senior Iraqi partners. Minimum Requirements At least 10 years of experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) or other federal agencies At least 5 years experience in Iraqi linguist or cultural support Due to the nature of the work, must be a U.S. citizen Must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility Staff are expected to work hours directed by the customer, generally 12 hours a day, Monday through Saturday Staff are expected to meet Iraq vaccine requirements for entry into Iraq Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of USCENTCOM Headquarters structure, processes, plans, and strategy Experience working aspects of Combined Joint Task Force ��� Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR) ATLA Language credential in Arabic
