The Property Technician Senior is responsible for assisting with the establishment, guiding, managing, and maintaining an efficient system responsible for the accountability of all property. Communicates effectively with other departments and functions in order to maintain a cohesive property control system. Follows written policies, procedures, and operational guidelines to ensure accountability for all property receive and/or acquired and manages all assets used in support of the objectives and missions of the organization. The Property Technician Senior reports directly to the Property Supervisor and/or his designee.Labor Category : FN4Job Title: Property Technician SeniorThe Property Technician Senior is responsible for assisting with the establishment, guiding, managing, and maintaining an efficient system responsible for the accountability of all property. Communicates effectively with other departments and functions in order to maintain a cohesive property control system. Follows written policies, procedures, and operational guidelines to ensure accountability for all property receive and/or acquired and manages all assets used in support of the objectives and missions of the organization. The Property Technician Senior reports directly to the Property Supervisor and/or his designee.Must have a basic understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), its application to FMS contracts and all requirements for proper stewardship of government property covered within.Performs operations involved in the storage, inspection, identification, and receipt of property. Conducts ongoing inventories to maintain accurate records of all property. Verify good records and status of property.Understands the crucial nature of and maintain accurate and timely records of all property transactions. Assists with the inspection, identification, tagging and tracking of property received. Maintains open communication and working relationship with departmental custodians to maintain a robust property control system and maintain accurate accountability. Provide training for custodians and other personnel to describe expectations and identify reporting standards.Perform Property/Asset Management duties in accordance with applicable directives. Utilizes information from the purchasing system and receiving documents and physical examination to create a complete and accurate record of all property items. Completes and submits accurate documents, including Loss, Theft, Damaged and Destroyed reports, cannibalization requests, Disposition requests and standard hand receipts. Complete accurate DD250, SF1354, DD1149 & SF1428s.Perform physical inventory to ensure the assets recorded in the property system physically exist, determine if there are any discrepancies in any recorded transactions, and identify any excess, defective, or obsolete assets on hand. Prepares statements of facts surrounding property loss, damage, or destruction through causes other than fair wear and tear.High school diploma or equivalent formal education .Minimum (5) years��� experience in supply chain and/or property management, inventory management, and warehouse management.Previous experience in Air Force property management a plus.Previous LOGCAP And/or AFCAP Experience Preferred.Must have knowledge in the following four (4) core areas: distribution management, material management, property control management and contingency operations.Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft office suite, intermediate office equipment skill, and Maximo Asset Management system software experience (preferred )Acuity International is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
