Summary

The
Commercial Executive Specialist is the primary solutions expert for Roche with accountability for selling cloud-based software to customers and prospective customers. This subject-matter expert is responsible for in depth knowledge of a defined product line or suite of solutions. The Commercial Executive Specialist will collaborate in a team-selling environment to grow current business and contract for new business by communicating the value of Roche Information Solutions and implementing and executing successful sales strategies designed to achieve established revenue and financial goals.
This job posting will fill seven (7) Commercial Executive Specialist positions.

Who You Are

You have a significant level of sales proficiency in the healthcare industry with an exceptional understanding of department or service line initiatives, positioning, and priorities of key buying influencers (i.e., Directors, Managers, Users and Service Live VPs). By leveraging your deep expertise, you seek to be a critical part of a team-based selling approach focused on the sale of complex, specialized information solutions. You are comfortable and savvy in working across a heavily matrixed environment and are able to grow relationships and collaborate with various customer groups, internal regions, and affiliates. Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to effectively work through team dynamics and handle difficult situations/relationships with minimal guidance.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Win and contract for new business by: 1) Delivering enhanced workflow and decision support solutions by linking value propositions to other Roche solutions across all Franchises/Divisions/Affiliates 2) Assessing Value Based Healthcare initiatives 3) Improving care along patient journeys

  • Engage in a customer-centric approach to provide superior customer experiences through value-based selling

  • Identify customer needs and matching solutions to meet the desired goals and objectives by leveraging in depth knowledge of Roche Information Solutions

  • Call on prospective and current company customers in coordination with other Roche sales and marketing resources

  • Collaboratively develop and present proposals and demonstration of solutions

  • Establish and build strong customer relationships with users, managers, directors and service line VPs to enable growth, profitability, and predictability of assigned solutions

  • Coordinate task clarity with internal teams to ensure success and efficiency

  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis

  • Coordinate company executive involvement and Customer Support Managers to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution as appropriate

  • Continuously build knowledge of industry trends, competitive information, and technical knowledge; share actionable information with other Roche colleagues.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • 5 years of relevant sales or equivalent experience

Preferred
Qualifications

  • Currently reside within 50 miles of a major metropolitan airport in the US

  • Willing and able to travel 50% or more across the US

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Health Sciences, or other related field

  • 10 or more years of relevant sales or equivalent experience

  • In depth understanding of Oncology workflow as related to cancer diagnosis, treatment, and on-going patient support

  • Expertise in one or more specialties: Laboratory, Oncology, Cardiovascular, Diabetes, Neurology, and Infectious Disease

  • In depth understanding of lab workflow and analytics

  • Customer focused selling skills to drive consistent results & partnerships
