Whitmore Vale provides quality residential care homes and support services across Surrey, enabling adults with learning disabilities with a wide range of needs to achieve valued and fulfilling lives.

With a focus on high quality care and holistic support to people, we specialise in supporting our clients to live a happy life close to the community, including participating in local activities and employment. We provide access to stimulating, flexible and meaningful activities and aim to develop greater independence for clients. We have supported many of our clients for over 30 years.

It is an exciting time at Whitmore Vale with the opportunity to review our structures and approaches, maximise our strengths, address our areas for development and ensure we have a sustainable future based on high quality care for our clients and their families.

The Chief Executive will develop and deliver our new strategy and business plan, advising the Board on the best approaches to maximise our ambitions. They will review our plans to ensure a best practice approach across all our functions, including our assets and a people strategy that harnesses innovation and development. The Chief Executive will also develop and maintain leadership relationships with external stakeholders, including other voluntary organisations and external organisation, to maximise joint working opportunities.

We are seeking an ambitious and inspirational Chief Executive with solid experience of leading organisations to unleash their full potential. You will be a successful leader with a proven track record of developing organisations to be the best they can be and experience of developing aligned, collaborative and performance focussed cultures. You will have experience of maximising commercial opportunities, ensuring robust governance and developing up to date service delivery. You will be an inspiring, engaging and commercially minded strategic thinker who enjoys leading organisations through periods of change and development. We are open to applications from leaders with a variety of backgrounds but you will be inspired by our work to support our clients to have the best quality of life.
