The Position
The Product Owner will work within an agile team, contributing to the creation and delivery of desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable products and solutions that fulfill customer needs. This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and user requirements throughout the product development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Process Understanding:
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experiences to identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share and improve customer satisfaction
- Assist in developing ROI models and articulate the value proposition of new product features
Program / Solution Support:
- Participate in defining the product vision and roadmap, maintaining the product backlog, and prioritizing needs based on business value
- Support the delivery of product initiatives from conception through implementation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet objectives within time, budget, and quality parameters
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior product owners, business process owners and various business stakeholders
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with agile teams, including developers, designers, and QA specialists, to ensure that the product vision is clearly understood and implemented effectively
- Support the Business Solution Owners in managing product rollouts and ensuring that all aspects of the program are integrated and functioning as intended
Stakeholder Communication:
- Liaise with various stakeholder groups to gather and prioritize product and customer requirements and ensure clear communication of product features and benefits
- Provide updates to stakeholders on product development progress and challenges
Operations & Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in the continuous review and improvement of the product by gathering and prioritizing product feedback and changes
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure effective support workflows and adherence to SLAs, focusing on holistic incident and problem management
Data Management:
- Assist in shaping the information architecture in collaboration with IT and business architects, ensuring simplicity and end-to-end interoperability
