JOB DESCRIPTION AND PROFILE

Under the supervision of the Finance Director, the selected candidate will join the finance team. His/her objective is to provide accounting support and to support the daily operational needs of the department. The role is critical as he or she plays an important support role in ensuring the smooth operation of the business.

The successful candidate must have excellent attention to detail, autonomy, time management and the ability to respond quickly to requests. An interest in sustainable development or international development is an asset.

LIST AND DESCRIPTION OF TASKS

· Verification, compilation and data entry

· Management of payroll, advances and payments

· Bank reconciliations

· Manage time sheets, bookkeeping and coordination with project agents

· Contribute to the development and updating of financial procedures

· Follow up on contracts with clients, partners and suppliers

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· A degree in accounting and a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar role

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

· Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken;

· Excellent knowledge of the Office suite and knowledge of Sage, Acomba, Quick books

· Excellent computer skills (Skype, Google Docs, Dropbox, Internet);

· Attention to detail;

· Autonomy;

· Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously;
