An exciting opportunity has arisen within Community Services for a Team Administrator to work within our North Manchester Citywide Services – Crumpsall Vale, Discharge to Assess and Manchester Crisis Response Team. The successful candidate will be based at Crumpsall Vale, North Manchester General Hospital and following a successful probationary period, rostered within the North locality of the citywide services (North Manchester General Hospital and Harpurhey District Office).

We are looking for an enthusiastic, solution focused, committed and experienced administrator who is an excellent communicator, organised and able to work well under pressure. T

You should be competent in word processing RSA 2/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification, organised and possess a recognised educational standard in English and Maths and/or equivalent demonstrable skills i.e. good command and understanding of English language/literature and numerical skills. Experience of general office procedures is also desirable. Experience working within the healthcare setting is desirable, with the ability to follow policy, procedures and maintain confidentiality.

The post holder will be required to work as part of the citywide service in collaboration with the other administrative staff working within the Crisis Response Team ; this may involve covering other localities during times of leave, sickness and/or maternity leave.

The post holder will be responsible for providing effective and efficient clerical and administrative support to teams of healthcare professionals. The role will involve the coordination and implementation of office procedures and will require a high degree of organisational skills and excellent working knowledge of administrative systems. The post holder will often be the first point of contact and a focal point for the services requiring clear communication and liaison skills. They will be responsible for managing and prioritising their own workload and will be required to use their own initiative. You must be able to take direction and work well with staff of all grades medical and non-medical.
