An exciting opportunity has become available for a Health and Safety professional to work with the WTWA Estates and Facilities department. This post will be based at Wythenshawe Hospital however there will be an expectation to travel between sites to Trafford, Withington, Altrincham, and Several Off-Campus Properties.

We are looking to recruit a highly self-motivated, and flexible team member with a positive “can-do” attitude to join our expanding team.

We are looking for previous experience in auditing health and safety standards, carrying out various health and safety related risk assessments, accident investigations, and training. the successful applicant will have extensive experience in effectively communicating with staff to promote a positive health and safety culture.

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance and deliver positive improvements to the Estates and Facilities services and ultimately improve the environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

You will support the Health & Safety and Risk manager in the provision of a comprehensive service throughout the Estates department, geared to the delivery of high standards in the working environment and safe practices relative to staff, patients, and other users of Trust services.

You will be required to provide specialist support to the E&F department on all aspects of health and safety, providing support for implementing the Trust Health and Safety Policies.

We want people who can use their initiative, work across professional boundaries and develop positive relationships with internal and external partners.

You should have experience working in health and safety and a recognized health and safety qualification.
