Description
Background: Al Ethar is a non-profit and non-governmental foundation, registered in Iraq with the No. (IZ780098), and has been working in Iraq since 2005. Al Ethar operates in Iraq through eight basic offices, the implemented projects vary to include but are not limited to: education, protection and response to survivors of GBV, projects to support young people and building capabilities to generate outcomes that create a sustainable and enabling environment for youth to achieve their potential
Key duties:
To develop, implement, coordinate and support a communication action-plan for the Al Ethar Foundation Office;
To plan and develop, and support of Al Ethar team when necessary, (including media managing, web and social media, other platforms/materials);
– To organize the evaluation of the knowledge, attitudes and practices in selected target groups and selected areas of work;
– To coordinate with the Al Ethar Foundation communication team(s) the main communication activities (campaigns, information sharing, capacity building, etc);
– To ensure proper visibility of the various initiatives managed by Al Ethar Foundation in the area of work
– To network, coordinate and manage the contacts of main communication with organizations operating in the governorates

- Related degree or have at least 3 years related experience
- Very Good in English
- Excellent computer and multimedia skills (including use of internet, Web, social media, photographs, videos, etc.).
