Description
You are responsible for analyzing and converting reports in the context of the transition of reports to MIG6 and for support in adapting the underlying methodologies and systems (integrated data model…).
You are also responsible for implementing the reports as a result of the roll-out of the digital meters in the current data model. This includes the execution of tasks related to the design of newly required reporting needs such as converting or expanding existing reporting, testing, linking data (automatic and semi-manual), and setting up actions to automate it, setting up reporting, …. In addition, you are responsible for the analysis and execution of a number of current and new assignments with regard to reportingTechnical context
– You have a master’s degree or you are equivalent through experience
– You have at least 3 years of relevant experience and preferably experience in reporting
– You have affinity with IT programs and a thorough knowledge of Excel and/or Access
– You have experience with SAS.
– experience in the energy market is a must (knowledge of market processes, market roles, responsibilities, regulations of the liberalized market)
– you have knowledge of energy legislation and experience with its implementation.
– Knowledge of and experience with SAP reporting tools such as BO 4.0.
– Solid knowledge of and experience with SAP BO Data Services 4.0.
– Experience with SAP4HANA, i.e. SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Analytics Hub and SAP BW4HANA
– Experience with BI monitoring & reporting facilities.
– Experience with Oracle as source system for BI / SAP BO 4.0.
– Experience with SQL

o You are responsible for the analysis of the general reporting needs and foundations needed to set up a good MIG-6 reporting environment
o You are responsible for the analysis, conversion and control of a number of reports
– You are (jointly) responsible for the implementation of the reporting as a result of the roll-out of the digital meters in the current data model.
o You are responsible for designing newly required reporting needs.
o You expand existing reports according to the adjusted reporting needs.
o You are responsible for the testing of the modified or new reports that have been built for this purpose.
o You are responsible for linking data (automatically and semi-manually) and performing checks on this.
o You are involved in setting up actions to automate new reports or optimize existing reports.
o You are responsible for creating/testing/documenting standard business reports in the context of digital meters.
– You prepare ad hoc and non-standard reports: you design queries and reporting requirements for reports and statistics for both internal and external parties and you monitor the uniformity of the reports. You perform analyzes on this, draw final conclusions and formulate these clearly to the parties involved.
– You are responsible for supplying standard lists, statistics, … intended for the regulator or other parties as determined by law
– You participate in projects. This implies:
o attending discussions and workshops
o taking on your role as a business representative and key user in the preparation/planning of the needs to be delivered, the timely delivery of the requested input and the further follow-up of this.
o thorough review of documents made available + clear formulation of business positions/comments.
– You systematically and proactively investigate the data flows, detect errors in the systems, initiate the necessary corrections and consult with the various market parties involved
– You inform internal and external parties in case of questions, problems and complaints. This implies :
o organizing discussions and workshops
o providing explanations
continuously helping to improve/align the operational dashboards/market monitoring
