What we are looking for:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics and/or Science or a related field or equivalent work experience, Masters a plus
Experience: Significant experience in a pricing or product management, preferably with a focus on pricing process and value creation.
Collaboration tools: Experience with business intelligence and visualization toolkits such as Qlik, R, Python, SAS or Tableau required. Advanced Excel and data manipulation. Strong working knowledge of SAP and other software tools
Other Skills and qualifications:
- Strong pricing background with execution experience
- People management or team leadership experience
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Experience developing solutions using large volumes of data; High level of numeracy and analytics. Ability to produce accurate and punctual reports in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced Pricing (Acquisition cost, Lifetime value, Premiums, Value Based, etc.)
- Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment while setting priorities, handling a diverse set of job responsibilities with effective organizational skills, and working within deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills in both communicating with and guiding the cross functional Teams
How You Will Thrive And Create And Impact
- Drive List Price strategy in EU and North America. Model the financial impact and revenue risks associated with different pricing strategies. Manage list price positioning across the countries and align to global pricing strategy
- Provide proactive leadership, coaching, performance management and ongoing development to team members. Support the pricing team by sharing best practices. Work with Pricing Leadership to manage resource allocation.
- Partner with Portfolio Leadership on all aspects of pricing. Strong role in the development of pricing strategies and initiatives, as well as pricing guidelines and price development.
- Monitor pricing performance, using different techniques to accomplish results. Root profitability analysis using problem solving techniques and implementing solutions. The position requires an innate ability to understand pricing at a granular level while being able to summarize and prepare an executive summary outlining the financial impact and or findings
- Supports yearend annual pricing process to successful completion. Responsible collaborating with the different areas of Global Pricing team. Implement and harmonize pricing processes
- Initiates and/or willingly accepts projects and ad hoc analyses driving business values by applying new perspective to existing challenges.
ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT (Under Typical Positions)
- Ability to travel within EU and North America up to 10%.
- Typically works in an office with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level
