The Opportunity:

The position, which reports to the Maintenance Team Leader, is responsible for carrying out mechanical repairs, conversions, maintenance and repair work, as well as the analysis of faults and their rectification.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance)

  • Erecting, testing and carrying out inspection, maintenance and repair work on production facilities
  • Analysis of faults in technical systems and their rectification
  • Determination of the technical condition of the machinery and equipment
  • Ordering the required wear and spare parts for the systems
  • Order and cleanliness in the workshop and at the various locations in the production halls
  • Knowledge in the field of vacuum technology, pneumatics desirable

QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience And Certifications)

  • Completed training in the technical field, mechatronics technician (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d),
  • Several years of professional experience – preferably in the maintenance of production facilities

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)

  • Responsible, structured and independent way of working, flexibility, ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
  • Analytical approach, especially in troubleshooting
  • Process-oriented and profitability-oriented way of thinking
  • Knowledge of common IT applications (MS Office)
