About the role:
We are hiring writers for an ongoing project which requires regular content for our company website and other websites that are part of our blog network.
To succeed as a freelance writer at ShoutVox, you may be asked to conduct research at a very basic level. Below please find some of the main responsibilities you will have in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Solid research skills and an ability to gather basic information on various topics when needed to inform content such as articles, emails and web page copy
- Ability to learn and grow on the job, including understanding our overarching content strategy to help us generate better ROI and overall results for our clients
- Ability to respond to communication from our management team in less than 24 hours due to the evolving and changing nature of our content requirements as well as updates
- Work hand in hand with our other departments when required, including our marketing team and client acquisitions team to maximize results
Requirements:
- Must be able to create SEO-optimized and conversion-optimized content
- Must be able to meet deadlines in a reliable manner and on a consistent basis
- Must work fluidly in a multifaceted team environment that changes regularly
- Must be responsive and a strong communicator, as this helps us provide our best product to our clients
Compensation:
- The content writer will receive $45/hour base pay with the opportunity for increased rates depending upon the complexity of the assignment
