Working Student (d/f/m) within Transmission Systems

You are a full time student (d/f/m) and, looking for a working student position in the Dynamic System / Transmission team? Then apply now! Your working place will be in Donauwörth, where helicopters are developed, manufactured, assembled and flight tested on the same site. We offer deep insight into the H135, H145 and Tiger helicopter from engineering perspective (Serial Support and Research & Development) with the option for task-related bachelor / master thesis. We are looking forward to you joining our dedicated team for 18 hours/week (flexi-time).

Location: Donauwörth

Start: As soon as possible

Duration: max. 24 months

We Offer You Some Exciting Tasks

• Definition and design of drive system components (rotor shafts, gearboxes, drive shafts, gearbox suspension, rotor brake, monitoring systems)
• Integration studies for drive system components in the helicopter
• Creation and processing of design documents in CATIA, SAP and VPM
• Processing of design changes
• Definition of maintenance tasks
• Technical support of production, prototype manufacturing, and final assembly on drive system topics
• Special task: Support in design and manufacturing of a sectional model of a Main Gearbox

You Offer

• You are an enrolled full time student within mechanical engineering / aerospace engineering or similar field of study
• You are interested in mechanical systems and development of mechanical parts, in particular transmissions
• You speak English (B2), basic knowledge in German / French is beneficial
• You have basic knowledge with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Basic knowledge of CATIA V5 is beneficial

You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
