Commercial Insurance Wholesale E&S Broker (San Diego, CA)
Our client is a well known and respected, national wholesale broker looking to add someone to their team in Dallas. This is an excellent opportunity to partner with strong local leadership and establish a strong network of retail relationships throughout the region.
Job Tasks
- Decrease value of policy when risk is substandard and specify applicable endorsements or apply rating to ensure safe profitable distribution of risks, using reference materials.
- Authorize financial actions.
- Decline excessive risks.
- Authorize financial actions.
- Write to field representatives, medical personnel, and others to obtain further information, quote rates, or explain company underwriting policies.
- Explain regulations, policies, or procedures.
- Review company records to determine amount of insurance in force on single risk or group of closely related risks.
- Verify accuracy of records.
- Examine documents to determine degree of risk from such factors as applicant financial standing and value and condition of property.
- Assess financial status of clients.
- Authorize reinsurance of policy when risk is high.
- Authorize financial actions.
- Evaluate possibility of losses due to catastrophe or excessive insurance.
- Assess risks to business operations.

Requirements
- P&C License
- 4+ years of commercial lines experience
- College Degree Preferred
Compensation for this opportunity ranges from $75,000-$105,000 with an industry leading bonus plan on top. The company also offers a top notch Benefits/401k/PTO package plus other incentives for employees.
