WFP vacant: Procurement Officer NOA

STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Advanced University degree in Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, Legal or Accounting or other relevant field, or First University degree with an additional relevant work experience and/or training/courses.

Language: Fluency in both – English and Spanish – oral and written communication.

Experience:

• Experience handling routine transactions/ purchase of commodities/goods/services.
• Experience developing timelines and cost reports for suppliers (e.g. retailers, wholesalers and traders).
• Demonstrated experience coordinating procurement processes with other units/ teams (e.g., logistics, ICT, Administration).

Type of Contract: Fix Term

Level: NOA

Duration: 12 months

This position is open only to Panamanian citizens or residents with permanent work permit.

Successful candidates will be placed in a roster for two (2) years.

Fixed-Term appointments are for a continuous period of one year or more and shall have a specified expiration date. The initial appointment is subject to a probationary period of one year
