Ada Meher are partnering with a boutique agency based in the Heart of Leicester City centre who are looking for a talented WordPress Web Developer to take advantage of an excellent learning opportunity on a variety of projects. A lot of the work will invlove working directly with the Technical Director on WordPress based projects with the chance to be trained in progressive web apps using Laravel, Vue. Their projects are deployed to AWS so their is also the opportunity for the right candidate to progress their knowledge in that area.

The right candidate doesn’t need a thorough understanding of all the technology mentioned, rather a solid grasp of the fundamentals of PHP WordPress Development with the drive to learn and expand their skill set into more progressive web and app development. The company at hand are uncompromising with their approach to quality code and have an average project lifespan of 2-3 months – they defintely aren’t an agency guilty of cutting corners to boost productivity!

In terms of working arrangements, the company boast and extremely flexible approach, prefering to ensure that employees are able to make their role work around their life commitments. However, given the training on offer, a suitable candidate could expect to visit the Leicester based office around twice a month initially with the opporunity to dial this back and they progress in the role.

To Be Considered

• 2+ year experience in PHP WordPress Development
• Demonstrable experience in native PHP Development
• Knowledge of API Development
• A thirst for learning (especially interest in mobile development and cloud computing)
• A champion of best practice
