Job Description
At Humanitarian Operations, we believe that education should be free, fair and available to everyone no matter their background or their location. We are developing an App that will be freely available worldwide in multiple languages, so no one feels left out.
We are looking for an experienced Educator to help us plan, organise, and implement the lessons in our e-learning modules in a way that encourages our end users to fulfil their potential. Our ideal candidate will tailor educational plans to help all users develop intellectually, socially, and emotionally. Above all, the goal is to cultivate a learning experience that is organised, meaningful, fun and enjoyable.
Objectives of this Role
- Foster interdisciplinary learning, teaching, and instruction according to national curriculum standards, and the educational needs and abilities of individuals
- Plan and prepare lessons, that are ready for the e-learning setup
- Communicate, cooperate, and build a team of educators that will be passionate about different subjects.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Utilise a wide variety of teaching methods to create differentiated opportunities for deep understanding for all learners, including students with special needs
- Create and distribute educational supports using visual/audio accompaniments to facilitate interactive learning
- Assess and evaluate student growth. Create action plans on group-wide and individual basis in response to student data
Skills And Qualifications
- Teaching degree, or in a degree in a specialised subject with a certificate in education
- Thorough knowledge of best practices and legal guidelines, and willingness to adhere to the school’s procedures and policies
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Can pass a background check
- Creative, positive, and energetic disposition
