Visiting Analyst (Intern)

Reimann Investors Venture Management GmbH manages venture capital funds that invest in young, digital and fast-growing companies. We see ourselves as a strategically active shareholder who accompanies and promotes the development of the investee companies in close cooperation with their management. The focus of our investment activities lies in the areas of Software as a service (SaaS), FinTech and Digital Commerce.

Your role

You are interested in Venture Capital? We are looking for an entrepreneurial-driven and aspiring person who is passionate about new technologies and startups to complement our investment team. Your full-time internship will last 3 – 6 months. You will work as a Visiting Analyst in our investment team in Munich and get insights into all aspects of the Venture Capital process. You will be a full member of the Reimann Investors team, actively guiding us through decisions and taking responsibility over various tasks including own projects. Once you are here, you will:

• Get full exposure to the investment process
• Screen teasers and pitch decks for future investments
• Conduct market analyses and research on target companies and their market environment
• Support in creating presentations about investment opportunities and our portfolio companies
• Organize, prepare and take part in meetings with founders/managers of potential investment targets
• Develop investment hypotheses, financial models as well as exit scenarios

You will be a perfect match if you bring

• Excellent academic records and a proven interest in startup and technology topics
• First practical experience in a fast-paced environment (Consulting, VC/PE, high-growth startup)
• Strong analytical skills and a high degree of commitment and independence
• Very good verbal and written communication skills and a high level of teamwork
• Fluent German and English language skills
