In Sudan we run the paediatric clinics in Nyala and Port Sudan, and in Khartoum we run the Salam Centre for Cardiac and Trauma Surgery. In order to strenghten our team we are currently hiring a skilled VISA BOOKING & SHIPMENT SUPERVISOR.
The responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
• Ensuring the accuracy and timely circulation of information to secure that the transit of people is performed in safety and full compliance of national regulation and organizational policies.
• Coordinating with Emergency Head Quarter, ensuring the appropriate procedures and travel options are put in place according to the particular needs of the organization and individuals, including cost control and safety standards, benchmarking business partners and accordingly reporting on the results to optimize our allocation of financial resources.
• Coordinating with Emergency headquarter to guarantee proper monitoring of all entry/exit procedures, visa and work permit acquisition processes to ensure staff timely presence on the projects according to the particular needs of the organization.
• Coordinating with the Teams’ daily activities, assigning tasks according to the priorities set by line managers and monitoring that all steps are taken in an efficient and timely manner.
• Ensuring professionals and patients are properly assisted and supported in their transfers (arrivals from/to the airport, relocations, etc).
• Partaking to meeting with External Authorities (HAC, MOH, Medical/Nursing Council…) in support of the line managers or in representation of the organization when needed and explicitly requested.
• Reporting regularly to the line managers about the status of the procedures, escalating any issues and promptly involving the Hospital Management or the Organization chief in case of urgency.
• Supervising travel plans design and deployment, promptly providing analytical reports concerning every variation that affects costs, security standards, efficiency and reliability of a vector or carrier.
