ELRHA

Elrha is a global charity that finds solutions to complex humanitarian problems through research and innovation. We are looking to recruit an Innovation Manager for Elrha’s Humanitarian Innovation Programme (HIF) to work within our Gender-Based Violence area of focus on a 6 month paternity cover contract, to start as soon as possible.

Do you have good grasp of innovation concepts, tools and approaches, ideally within our focus area of Gender Based Violence (GBV) within a humanitarian setting? Are you looking to develop credible technical expertise and a respected profile in humanitarian innovation?

Our Innovation Managers are passionate about identifying the most pressing humanitarian problems, analysing opportunities for innovation, working with sector experts to investigate solutions and designing funding calls to address them. They provide technical oversight and effective management across a portfolio of innovation grants, and share learning both internally and externally through thought leadership and external representation of Elrha.

Note – This is not a fundraising role; the HIF aims to improve outcomes for people affected by humanitarian crises by identifying more effective and scalable innovative solutions.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate with a good mix of skills and experience across:

  1. Innovation: You will bring experience of developing creative innovation journeys and bringing ideas from conception to completion.
  2. Stakeholder Facilitation: You can show the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, convene interdisciplinary and diverse groups, and facilitate interactive, inclusive and accessible workshops.
  3. Project management: You will have strong project management skills to ensure effective use of time, budget and resources, and the sensitivity to lead projects addressing complex issues in an ethical and thoughtful way.

Experience of working on programming to address Gender-Based Violence (GBV) or other gender issues within a humanitarian context, and/or technical knowledge of this area, would be advantageous.

Please note that we will assess your communication skills on the quality of your personal statement and CV as well as any presented experience and achievements.

Closing Date: 21 January 2024

Interviews: Week commencing 29 January 2024 (online)

If want to be part of an organisation that creates positive change in the humanitarian sector then join us and we’ll give you every opportunity to succeed.

Please review the full job description for further details. When applying you will be taken through the Save the Children recruitment system.
