About Al Ameen:

AL-AMEEN for Humanitarian Support is a non -governmental organization established by a group of volunteers in Syria during the crisis in 2012 and registered in the USA, Sweden, and turkey.

AL-AMEEN for Humanitarian Support is implementing projects through regional offices in Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, Yemen, Sudan, Iraq, Palestine, and Somalia.

Our work sectors are Health, Nutrition, Education, Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), Protection, Shelter &Non-food items, Wash and Sanitation.

AL AMEEN for Humanitarian Support also manages development projects, advocates to empower civil societies and local governance.

Roles Responsibilities :

Designing local publications including AHS reports, magazines, presentations, and all brand-related materials (roll-up banners, etc.)

design of AHS global publications (reports, articles, newsletters, infographics vb.) and related brand materials

Video shooting, editing, production of animated visual assets and simple videos

Compliance & Ethics :

Promote and encourage a culture of compliance and ethics throughout AL-AMEEN for Humanitarian Support, as applicable to the position, maintains a clear understanding of AL-AMEEN for Humanitarian Support and donor compliance and ethics standards, and adhere to those standards. Conducts work with the highest level of integrity. Communicates these values to staff and partners and requires them to adhere to these values.

Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse

Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards within AHS and amongst beneficiaries served by AHS

Expected profile

Education & Qualification

Bachelor’s degree or institute degree in media, design, or related direction

Professional experience

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, Multimedia, or related field

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs

• Knowledge of printing processes with the Print houses

• Ability to work under pressure, collaborate, proactivity, and problem-solving are hallmarks

• Have strong oral and written communication skills and be confident in dealing with all levels of management

• Hard worker, creative thinker, ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities in a deadline-oriented environment

Languages

• Required: Arabic and English are med levels (oral and written)

Technical Skills and Personal qualities required

• Med to a good level of English writing and editorial skills
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and IT in general;
