The role includes the commissioning, the repair and service of a range of medical devices. The department has a strong track record of developing team members to give them the best chances of career progression.
What we’re looking for
Ideally, you will be qualified to or working towards a NVQ4 or equivalent in medical engineering, with at least 1 year experience working in an EBME / clinical engineering field. With a clear focus on quality and patient services you will be technically supporting (repairing, servicing and testing) a range of medical equipment across many clinical specialists that supports the delivery of world class healthcare here at University Hospital Southampton, within the local healthcare community and overseas. You will require a full driving license. Applicants with lower qualifications and experience may be considered for more junior grades.
