Job Description

Responsibilities

• Inspect a particular phase of temporary traffic management roadworks to ascertain the layout conforms to plans and specifications and standard methods of work
• Prepare reports and related correspondence.
• Reports incidents of noncomplio codes and standards, and may recommend corrective actions.
• Follows up to confirm implementation of corrective actions.
• Maintains records of safety audits and inspections, as well as required follow up actions.
• Coordinates closely with Client’s Quality, Health and Safety Department on Safety requirement to minimize construction disruption on site.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Required Qualifications And Experience

• The candidate ideally to have achieved a qualification in civil engineering or suitable accepted equivalent including approved vocational training in the field of Traffic Management and/or conducting Highway Safety Inspections with a minimum of seven (7) years experience on major highways or local roads.
• Will accept LANTRA or NRSWA trained
• Should have detailed knowledge of Work Zone Traffic Management requirements, experience to
• Familiarity with requirements related to health and safety, street works and associated codes of practice is essential.
• Applicants should possess a full driving license and have good command of English (verbal and written) for the role.
