Job Description

The American Red Cross requires all new hires be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of Employment, except in states where it is prohibited by law. The work location for this exciting opportunity is virtual. The selected candidate will work 100% remotely from home and will need to work an East coast schedule for client meetings.

Position Summary

The American Red Cross seeks a creative and energetic Testing & Optimization Front End Developer to join our Fundraising & Marketing Technology Group (FMTG.) This is an opportunity for a hands-on developer to partner with data scientists and marketers in constructing complex experiments throughout our marketing technology portfolio, powered by Adobe Experience Cloud.

Top candidates will have experience as a front-end developer for a testing and optimization program using Adobe Experience Cloud, or similar other T&O or MarTech platforms.

In This Role You Will

  • Partner with the data scientists and marketers to support experimentation, journey optimization and personalization for flagship applications such as Redcross.org and Redcrossblood.org.
  • Partner with Platform Operations to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for configuring, administering, and operating portions of the Adobe Experience Cloud platform.
  • Create solution designs for implementing multi-touch/multi-channel experiences.
  • Develop custom code for implementing multi-touch/multi-channel experiences

To Qualify, You Must Have

  • 5+ years’ experience developing front-end solutions using Java/JSP, Javascript, CSS, HTML and Angular/React.
  • At least 2 years’ experience with Adobe Experience Cloud or similar marketing cloud platform (like Salesforce, Optimizely, IBM, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, electrical engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as customer relationship building skills.
  • Adapt to and work effectively with a variety of stakeholders and in challenging situations.
  • Desire to participate in and help build and strengthen a team-oriented environment.
  • Innate curiosity and desire to learn while working with other subject matter experts.
  • Strong adherence to a consistent delivery methodology and associated deliverable generation.
  • Experience working with Adobe Launch or similar tag management tool.
  • Prior experience working with Testing & Optimization programs is a plus.

Nice-to-have experience that would put you at the top of the candidate pool, but not required!:

  • Advanced knowledge of content reuse/syndication with Adobe Experience Manager
  • Experience in design level documentation of BRD, Technical and architectural diagrams
  • Demonstrable expertise with most of the following Adobe Target concepts/disciplines:
  • Custom audiences, integrating with third-party data systems, trigger views, content sharing through experience fragments, category affinity, custom attributes, Adobe Sensei AI/ML, auto-target/auto-personalization, and recommendations.
  • Significant experience with any of the following Adobe Target concepts/disciplines:
  • Profile scripts
  • Server-side testing
  • On-device decisioning
  • Mobile app testing

Education

Or comparable experience on other T&O platforms.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, electrical engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
