Territory Sales Manager – London South

Territory Sales Manager opportunity at a leading international biotech company producing best in class products across single cell analysis and spatial transcriptomics. A rare opportunity to take ownership of the high-value London South territory building relationships in the NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) market.
Core Duties:
- Managing the North Territory (up to Scotland to Midlands, not including Birmingham)
- Consulting with customer and key decision makers on technology and product choices.
- Presenting new and existing products to current and potential customers.
- Demonstrating territory planning, market knowledge and providing forecasting
- Developing and managing a business plan to meet or exceed business goals for the territory
- Consistently and accurately manage sales process including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales tracking through the use of the CRM system and other designated IT tools
- Developing and maintaining knowledge of genetic analysis markets, products, and buying practices required to effectively compete in the assigned territory
- Utilising product and application knowledge across the genetic analysis portfolio to successfully conduct selling presentations
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrable, relevant, skills needed for a NGS field sales role (i.e. minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field; or the equivalent knowledge and experience) – Master’s Degree or PhD preferrable
- Previous sales experience in Life Science, with capital equipment
- Strong desire to win business and establish long term customer relationships
- Extensive knowledge of NGS
- Willingness to travel up to 80%
- Experience of using a CRM system (Ideally SFDC)
