The work location for this exciting opportunity is virtual. The selected candidate will work remotely and can be located anywhere in the United States. This position is temporary and will last approximately 4 months.

The Temporary Talent Acquisition Screener will provide support our Talent Acquisition team in screening candidates across several lines of business. This position will work in a fun and fast-paced environment.

Conduct interviews to recruit prospective employees and refers job applicants to specific job openings. Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate candidates based on employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities and other data pertinent to the selection and referral of candidates.
• Coordinate ratings of applicants and development of starting salary recommendations for hiring manager consideration.
• Correspond with candidates to provide company information and notification of employment consideration.
• Maintain and track job and candidate data for compliance to EEO and other related employment laws and regulations.

Scope: Individual contributor that works under limited supervision. Apply subject matter knowledge. Capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge.

Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. The American Red Cross does not sponsor employment visas.

Qualifications

Education: High School or equivalent is required.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. Experience working in HR systems like Workday & Service Now preferred.

Management Experience: N/A

Skills & Abilities: Good verbal and written communication skills. Experience in personal computer use and Microsoft Office Suite. Proficient typing skills required. Ability to work on a team.

Travel: None or very little.

• Combination of candidate’s education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description’s minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).
