Technical Training Manager

The Communicating with Disaster-Affected Communities Network (CDAC Network) is seeking a Technical Training Manager to manage CDAC’s capacity-bridging training programme and provide technical advice, backstopping and support in emergency response.

This a role that will suit a passionate, fluent and effective communicator and facilitator with proven expertise in using interactive and participatory learning techniques to foster greater mastery of key competencies.

Working with the CDAC Secretariat programme team, they will be central to CDAC’s impact in driving change in communication, community engagement and accountability in the humanitarian sector.

CDAC and its members have long been at the forefront of the positive shift in accountability to affected populations. 2022 marked the first year of our new multi-year strategy, one in which we will double down on our vision to ensure decision-making is driven by those affected in a crisis.

The Technical Training Manager will deliver on a programme of work that enables and promotes greater understanding of the contribution of communication, including the coordination of information provision and two-way communication activities, to the quality and effectiveness of humanitarian response.

If this job is for you, you will have proven expertise in planning, managing and coordinating training programmes. You are confident and innovative, excited to work in a fast-moving environment, passionate about communication, community engagement and accountability and driven by the opportunity to drive change in humanitarian and development action.
