Technical Support Officer – Report Editing

Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Technical Support Officer – Report Editing to join our team in London, UK.

The post-holder sits within the UK technical team and works closely with the Senior Technical Support Officer and Global Technical Team to collaborate and lead on copy editing and formatting of project activity and consultancy reports They work with project managers and CTCs to prepare technical activity reports to be submitted to key project stakeholders to help facilitate stakeholder engagement, lessons learnt and research uptake. The role requires a high level of written English and a keen eye for detail to effectively edit and format these reports to a high standard.

The post-holder will regularly liaise with the External Relations team to identify how selected activity reports could contribute towards non-peer-reviewed organisational outputs, strengthening Malaria Consortium’s technical position. This role supports report writing capacity development.

The successful candidate will have:

  • BA or BSc degree in a relevant discipline or substantial equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent coordination skills, with experience of collaborating with multiple people, across functions and in different countries.
  • Experience of working in multi-cultural environments and with people based remotely.
  • Experience in reporting process or cycle.

This is a fixed term contract for the period of 2 years.
