As a Technical Product Owner, you will be the responsible person to manage our Linux Platform roadmap. This position will be part of Automation and Digital Solutions Engineering team within ICP Business. This includes the definition of requirements, aligned with all stakeholders, maintaining the development backlog and define release roadmaps. Additionally, the Product Owner should be the interface from projects into the platform and promote the usage to the engineering and product teams. The Product Owner is responsible for the quality of the platform and the on-time availability of needed releases for product developments and updates.
Your Responsibilities
- Own and Scale the Linux platform roadmap along with Product roadmap
- Lead the development and maintenance of the Linux Platform
- Define platform requirements, based on customer problems, together with product and development team
- Create a vision for the Linux Platform evolution for the next years, aligned with product roadmaps
- Maintain the Linux Platform development backlog
- Manage sprint planning’s and track development tasks
- Define Linux Platform release roadmaps, aligned with project requirements
- Ensure the needed quality of the releases, do final release approval
- Preparation of key performance Indicators and other metrics
- Be the interface between Stakeholders and the Linux Platform team
- Promote the benefits and usage of the Linux Platform inside the business
- Contribute to development task on the Linux Platform
- Support the development team on technical questions
- Cooperation with Eaton global platform teams
Qualifications
Your Profile:
- Completed study (HF/FH) in the field of software engineering, systems engineering, electrical engineering or similar
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Linux projects and 2 years in product ownership
- Software skills in embedded Linux environment: architecture, design, and development
- Experience with working into an Agile team / environment (Scrum)
- Proven hands-on experience with electronics devices development, product development processes and validation
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and data encryption
- Knowledge of HW embedded electronics (MPU/MCU) is a plus
- Experience with coaching and guiding software teams on a technical and functional level
- Experience with distributed teams on multiple international locations
- Good command of English in spoken and written, German of advantage
