Job Summary

Key user for SAP ERP implementation. Manage customer accounts to assure the processing of the purchase orders, shipments & quotations, and to assure the alignment between the customer requirements and the production constraints. Maintain high level of processes efficiency, lead process improvements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Establish professional and best practice contacts with the customers — by phone or e-mail — manage potential conflicts and priorities with urgent matters, in order to find solutions that will satisfy the customer and respect internal constraint
  • Constantly coordinates with the planning, sales and finance in order to acquire and maintain an extensive knowledge of the internal workings of these departments and their processes
  • Work in collaboration with the technical sales support and marketing
  • Participate, for the assigned customers, to the updating of the sales forecasts for the current month and the coming months in order to establish the commercial and productions plans
  • Manage and establish the quotes to the customers according the defined price list and rebates
  • Work closely with the sales manager for quotes that are outside of the list price. Continuously follow up of the quotes with the customers.
  • Analyze Credit hold and work with Financial dept. to get payment for the overdue invoices and follow the customer account statements
  • New customers set-up in the ERP in accordance with GTM process & rules
  • Participate on calls with production to discuss about deliveries problems, urgencies, give prioritization on sales orders if needed
  • Propose and lead process improvements – always look for better efficiency of processes
  • Coaching and supervision of apprentice
  • Give support to the team on their daily operational questions, solve tricky issues
  • Represent team in projects impacting team processes and ensure procedures are respected in the team
  • Key user for SAP ERP implementation during the whole project duration, challenge current process, propose and lead improvements ideas
  • Coordinates with forwarders and logistics subcontractors’ customers deliveries.

Education Level Required

  • CFC of commerce or equivalent training.

Years And Area Of Experience Required

  • Minimum 5 year in sales administration.

Technical Knowledge

  • Excellent management of communication tools (telephone, e-mail…)
  • Excellent knowledge of computer software (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Office)
  • French mother tongue, with excellent English written and spoken knowledge
  • Credit Control processes, negotiations skills, continuous improvement, change management.
