Team Administrator

This is a developmental role with the aim, over the course of a year, to train the successful applicant into the more involved Band 3 Clinical Support Team Administrator role.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with an eclectic, interesting and motivated staff team that includes doctors, nurses and support workers. The role involves working both on and off the ward and will include regular engagement with the service users who are, ultimately, at the centre of what we do.

Duties Will Include

  • Assisting in the maintenance of ward staff Human Resources records.
  • Updating the Electronic Patient Record by way of scanning clinical documents and inputting information relating to clinical meetings and general patient demographics.
  • Assist with keeping the Nursing and Ward Management offices clean, tidy and well-organised (possibly the most appreciated role on the ward!)
  • General typing, filing, photocopying and other office duties
  • With support from the Band 3 Clinical Administrators and Band 4 Senior Administrators, participating in own development into the Band 3 role by organising and engaging with clinical meetings, taking of minutes, assisting with audits and typing up, from audio dictation, often highly sensitive clinical information.

As part of the wider Clinical Administrative Team the successful candidate will also have an opportunity to work in other teams not only within the Service line but the wider Secure Services care group to gain additional insight and to support personal development.
