The Talent Management Intern will work alongside the Talent Management professionals on a variety of talent related projects such as supporting Carhartt’s internship program, multi-rater feedback program, Internal Talent Mobility, engagement, and Learning programs.

What You’ll Learn:

• How to develop talent programs based on business needs

• How to leverage research and analyses to help the business make informed decisions

• Carhartt’s business strategies and Talent Management function’s purpose

Responsibilities:

• Support a variety of talent management programs to deliver results on talent initiatives.
• Develop reference materials and resources in support of talent management programs.
• Partner with various members of the talent management team to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Engage in data analysis of talent management programs.
• Assist with execution of talent development programs.
• Research and identify new best practices in talent management.
• Create and manage project plans, communication, and execution of identified projects.
• Perform special projects and miscellaneous duties as assigned
• Own and develop an end of semester intern presentation.
• Working a 40-hour work week, Monday – Friday.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Junior, Senior or Graduate student
• GPA minimum 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
• Takes initiative and is intellectually curious
• Proven project management skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
• Strict attention to detail and ability to prioritize
• Ability to balance creative/strategic thinking and project execution
• Microsoft Office proficiency required
