The Talent Management Intern will work alongside the Talent Management professionals on a variety of talent related projects such as supporting Carhartt’s internship program, multi-rater feedback program, Internal Talent Mobility, engagement, and Learning programs.
What You’ll Learn:
• How to develop talent programs based on business needs
• How to leverage research and analyses to help the business make informed decisions
• Carhartt’s business strategies and Talent Management function’s purpose
Responsibilities:
- Support a variety of talent management programs to deliver results on talent initiatives.
- Develop reference materials and resources in support of talent management programs.
- Partner with various members of the talent management team to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Engage in data analysis of talent management programs.
- Assist with execution of talent development programs.
- Research and identify new best practices in talent management.
- Create and manage project plans, communication, and execution of identified projects.
- Perform special projects and miscellaneous duties as assigned
- Own and develop an end of semester intern presentation.
- Working a 40-hour work week, Monday – Friday.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Junior, Senior or Graduate student
- GPA minimum 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Takes initiative and is intellectually curious
- Proven project management skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Strict attention to detail and ability to prioritize
- Ability to balance creative/strategic thinking and project execution
- Microsoft Office proficiency required
