Our client an industry-leading expert in the IT sector is looking to hire a “Talent Acquisition specialist” to join their energetic team located in downtown Toronto, ON. As a recruiter you will be developing pro-active pipelines through sourcing, interviewing, offering extension, and negotiation to selected candidates for a variety of positions, with an emphasis on high volume and technical roles!
Job Type: Full-time/ Permanent
Work location: Toronto, ON / Hybrid ( in-office + work from home )
Work Timings: Regular business Hours, Mon- Fri

Duties and Responsibilities :
- Be responsible for the full recruitment cycle, from candidate sourcing to negotiation and the offer
- Understand internal and external clients’ needs
- Set up and prioritize talent acquisition strategies
- Maintain regular updates with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
- Contribute to the employer brand through recruitment marketing campaigns
- Improve the recruitment process by suggesting new sourcing methods and strategies
- Identify, organize and participate in employment events, such as career fairs and, trade shows
- Suggest new work methodologies for continuous improvement.
- Participate in various Human Resources responsibilities with a focus on contributing to the overall employee experience, including employee events.
Skills and Qualification Required :
- Must have post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or equivalent related experience or CHRP an asset
- Must have at least 3-5 years experience in full recruitment cycle on high volume preferably in the IT sector.
- Nice to have at least 1 to 2 years of HR generalist experience with a tech firm or in a corporate setting
- Proven records in attention to details and data accuracy
- Strive to work in an environment with rapid changes
- Must have strong collaboration, consultation, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency y in MS Office is required
