Long story short, as a part of Preeti Srivastav´s team your main mission will be to establish, implement and manage all activities linked to the Sustainability Framework in line with the overall AEI Sustainability strategy.
Act as subject matter expert and coordinate all Sustainability related topics, coordinating on both internal & external sustainability communication.
More Specifically, You Will Be Trusted To
- Create, implement and maintain the regional implementation plans on Scope 1& 2 and drive Scope 3 Sustainability Framework in line with the overall AEI Sustainability strategy.
- Represent sustainability in AEI/Hub and markets forums/projects and engage with relevant subject matter experts from other functions.
- Establish a solid Sustainability awareness by developing training materials, delivering training sessions and communicating efficiently to ensure Sustainability framework is understood and lived by all markets.
- Work closely on sustainability internal & external communication and coordinate with all 3rd party sustainability target & commitment platforms.
- Align relevant Policy procedures and ways of working for Supply chain, marketing, HR, Procurement with Sustainability Framework.
- Work closely with Hub sustainability lead and support the Sustainability Framework implementation
- Coordinate concrete sustainability initiatives at category / country level, monitor progress of projects and provide frequent status reports to sustainability Leadership Team, ensuring no duplication of effort and proper best practice sharing.
- Act as change ambassador by working closely with category teams and other stakeholders, actively identifying opportunities for continuous improvement for sustainability
- Act as subject matter expert for Sustainability related topics, especially scope 3 (agriculture, transportation, cooling, packaging). Review internal / external data to understand latest trends / developments in terms of Sustainability practice, introduce proven concepts / best practices in the company.
- Be sole point of contact for 3rd party consultancy firms, NGO`s and other stakeholder in respect to Sustainability related topics.
- Deliver against Sustainability targets/KPIs, monitor & track results, initiate actions in case of deviations.
Do you have what it takes?
- University degree, preferably in Business related field (Master degree preferred)
- Proficiency in English
- 6-10 years of professional experience, whereof 5+ years in Sustainability
- Stakeholder management experience (working with both internal & external stakeholders)
- 3+ years of experience in project management
- Understanding of basic sustainability concepts – Scope 1, 2,3-– Electricity, Heat, water, waste, Transportation, Packaging, Cooling + Regulations/policies around these topics
- Knowledge of external climate landscape – NGO’s, platforms
